European Stallion Service Auction & Incentive Program
How It Works
Launched in 2026, the European Stallion Service Auction & Stallion Incentive Program supports European breeders and exhibitors committed to true ranch horsemanship, fair competition and the enduring spirit of the working ranch horse. Auction proceeds provide added money to select European events throughout the year, beginning in 2027.
Participating sires represent leading bloodlines shaping the ranch horse industry today. They receive featured promotion on IRHA channels, exposure at participating shows and an exclusive logo to use in advertising.

- Stallion owners support IRHA by donating one breeding for the 2027 season.
- Both European and U.S. stallions are eligible, provided the stallion or frozen semen is located in Europe.
- If a breeding does not sell during the auction, it automatically moves to the online “Buy Now” list at €500 or half of the advertised stud fee — whichever is higher.
- If still unsold, the stallion owner may choose to pay €500 or half of the advertised stud fee to remain in the program.
- Event funding applications will open in early 2027; selected events will receive added money to reward participating horses at their IRHA events.
